How We Met - July, 1992 - Private RP Part 2

Laughing he crawled to sit in front of him, a large Cheshire cat grin on his face. "Sephiroth, you do realize I have been trained from day one not only by the Turks but the assassins to read body language." AKA Sephiroth unless he gained a poker face in the next two seconds was screwed. Smirking even more Tseng closed the distance putting their foreheads and noses together and twisted his face slightly making a funny face. "Come on tell Niisan."

Something between a snort and a laugh escaped him at the strange face. Turning his head to the side, Sephiroth shook his head, still refusing to answer. Maybe he wasn't trained in body language, but he could still be very stubborn when he wanted to. He was both hoping and fearing Kiyomi returning to the room, though she might try to get Tseng to stop... she might also just join in.

"Yeah don't count on mom saving you.. who do you think i learned this from." Follows him putting their faces together again, "you will tell me all I want to know... these are not the droids you are looking for.." Okay he felt like he was slightly drugged up but it was keeping his mind off darker things and it had the bonus of making Sephiroth laugh which was rare all on it's own.

That earned a proper snicker, and Sephiroth concluded that maybe retreat was a better option than trying to hold his position. Question was... how to retreat from a persistent sibling. ...why not copy said sibling? Attempting to keep his expression from giving Tseng any warning of his intentions, the fourteen-year-old pulled the blanket over his head and curled underneath it.

"Oh Sephy...Sephy Sephy..." he gently pated the lump before pulling himself up and sat on said lump. "You have much to learn young jedi..." He started to bounce, not hard enough to hurt but enough to make the hospital bed bounce a little. "Mmm my bed is lumpy." he playfully began to punch the bed to fluff it up, once satisfied it was properly fluffed, draped himself over it. "mm still lumpy but will work" He nuzzled into the bed and pretended to start snoring.

Sephy? Said 'Sephy' almost growled at the less-than-acceptable mutilation of his name. Seph was one thing... but warping it like that was just... His eye twitched but he didn't immediately try to get back at him for it. And he would get back at him for calling him that. He waited patiently until Tseng had settled and pretended to fall asleep before launching his counter-attack: Tickling.

Kioymi giggled softly from the door way watching this. Oh Sephiroth had so much to learn about dealing with an older brother. She shook her head watching as Tseng knowing what the counter attack was going to be 'shut off' all the tickle points Sephiroth could reach in his position.

"Try again little man..." Tseng smirked making himself become dead weight on top of the boy.

This time Sephiroth did growl, more annoyed than amused now. I am not little. Squirming and twisting around, he shoved at Tseng with his feet, though only hard enough to get him off of him. Annoyed or not he didn't want to knock him onto the floor to crack his head on the tiles.

Kiyomi sighed seeing a fight was about to break out, and moved into the room before Tseng could snap at him. "Sephiroth.. that wasn't an insult darling." She quickly reached up and tugged on her son's hair, a sharp quick tug that was her normal disciplinary action. His head was highly sensitive, and because of the abuse at the hands of his father, she couldn't spank him if he was bad.. so the sharp hair tug became his punishment. "That's called playing about, baiting.."

Sephiroth winced at the admonishment, even if it was rather a gentle one. He had given into his annoyance and frustration when he knew Tseng was only playing, he hadn't had to shove at Tseng. Embarrassed both at his own mistake and the gentle reprimand, he turned away under the blanket, curling up tighter again. Though he wouldn't admit it aloud, he knew he was being rather childish in choosing to sulk.

Tseng sighed and looked up at his mother. "What did you find out?" He moved off the bed figuring he had pushed Sephiroth too far, and would be best to give the boy space. "The doctors said if your blood work comes back clean.. or shows the infection is going down they will let you go tonight as long as you take antibiotics at home." Tseng nodded moving over to one of he other chairs and sat down in it. "They should be coming in soon to draw the blood."

Which means they'll want to test my blood as well, Sephiroth concluded sourly. Considering how much the infection had effected him before they'd given him antibiotics, and how he'd passed out last night... they'd likely be just as concerned about his blood-work as they were Tseng's... You'd think that being raised in a lab with frequent 'appointments' he'd have gotten used to needles, but while he tolerated them he still loathed them. That might be a good trick to play on Hojo, actually: hiding all his needles. If he did it before a scheduled appointment, then it would be all the more amusing.

However... if getting stuck with a needle was what it took to be able to go home with Tseng and make sure his brother managed to sleep properly, he'd just have to deal with it.

A nurse moved into the room a few minutes later, a scowl on her face. "Alright, Lets get this over with so we can get you drama queens out of the hospital." So far the two had been nothing but problems, honestly the black haired one should be in a mental ward. Moving over to said boy she was none to gentle with drawing the blood, ignoring the boys yelp.

The minute she was done Tseng jerked his arm away not caring if she put a bandaid over it or not, that friken hurt! and he was no slouch with pain.

Sephiroth pushed down the blanket and sat up quickly at Tseng's yelp. Tseng was a Turk, and an Assassin - there was no reason for him to be crying out over blood being drawn. As he sat up, however, he found himself quite distracted by the now snug length that was wound tightly around his neck. Trying to take a startled breath only made it feel like it was really choking him and being left handed he dropped his right IV-laden hand to the bed as a brace while he reached for the tube wound around his neck with his left.

Kiyomi who had seen Sephiroth bolt upright gasped and raced over to him. "Sephiroth calm down sweet heart." She grabbed his right hand lifting it to help slacken the IV tube and grabbed the actual bag off it's stand lowering it and bringing it right up next to Sephiroth so it completely slackened the tubing.

Tseng hearing his mother had stood up and raced over, helping his little brother unwind the tubing from around his throat, ignoring the blood running down his arms.

Eyes wide, Sephiroth rubbed at his now free neck with his left hand. He supposed that taught him to play around while on an IV... and to pay much closer to attention to where exactly the IV was running. There was no good reason for letting it loop around his neck like that without noticing, no matter how loose it was. The desire to pull the IV from his hand was a strong one.

Catching sight of red out of the corner of his eye, he remembered why he had sat up so quickly in the first place and snagged Tseng's wrist so that he could have a clearer look at the source of the blood. He'd had his blood drawn many times, and remembered when Tseng's blood had been drawn last night. It was not supposed to bleed like that unless you did something very wrong. His eyes shot up to the nurse, narrowing darkly.
