Appearance: Slender and very Curvy, Kiyomi is of average height for a woman of Wutai with soft peach ivory skin, with a soft round face. her slanted eyes are a very rare color in Wutai natives showing possible Eastern blood down her line, her eyes are a light almost sky blue in color and seem to radiate joy all the time. her long black hair with dark blue tones reaches to the ground and for the most part she wears it loose around her though because of her past as a Wutai Geisha she is skilled at putting it up into elaborate designs. she wears simple kimono's in shades of pinks and purples and whites during the off season at the temple but will wear the more elaborate designs of the Geisha when dignitaries arrive at the temple or during the special festivals.

Personality: Kiyomi is a very traditional Wutai woman when around a man, quiet and obedient she does not speak out and does as she is asked as until the arrival of Shinra in Wutai women were nothing more than second class citizens there simply to serve a man and bear him a son. When she is with her children she becomes very joyful, always smiling and giggling softly behind her kimono sleeve, she loves her two children dearly and will do anything to make sure they are happy, her first born especially.. her little Tenshi is the love of her life. If anyone dares to touch her children she will tear the person apart, no one touches her child.

Since Shinra's take over of Wutai she has opened up, no longer obeying her crude husband she had a very spirited personality that she hides most of the time, but it is there though it is only really shown during the rare times Tseng returns home.

Bio: Born to the Madam of one of the local Geisha houses Kiyomi was raised almost from day one to become a Geisha, her father is unknown as it could be any numbers of the madam's patrons. while Geisha's are not considered prostitutes for a high enough price they would spend the night with a customer. By the time Kiyomi was eleven she had begun her apprentiship as a giko for her family house and caught the eye of the local Leviathan priest. he was the son of the current head priest and frequented the Tea house Kiyomi worked, alongside his father and the current Lord of Wutai. by the age of twelve a dowry was offered to her mother and accepted and she was married to the temple priest son earning him the title assistant priest until his father stepped down. Because of her age she would remain in her Madam's house until the birth of her first child for which she would then move to her husbands house.

By the time she was fourteen she had suffered three miscarriages and one stillbirth before on December 28 she gave birth to a two month premature Tseng in a Junon hospital while traveling with her husband. While her mother had fought her going in such a delicate state, she believes it was because of the traveling that she was able to hold her Tenshi in her arms. Wutai did not have the advanced medicine that Junon did and believes that is what saved his life. Because of how weak and frail the new born was she became super protective of him and he became her world; she cherished him but made sure not to spoil him even though she was just a child herself. While her husband attended the Shinra and the people of Wutai Kiyomi continued her work at her mothers Geisha house as an assistant Madam. helping to train the new Geisha's while raising her son who never left her side.

She was proud to see that because of his interactions with women that he was not growing up with the same mind set of Wutai men as he seemed to almost revear women instead of treating them like second class citizens.

She was proud to watch her Tenshi grow from a frail child to a very strong very confident young man, and was even prouder when after giving birth to a daughter after several failed attempts he embraced his sister and protected her with all he had.

When Tseng was 16 he ran away from home and it nearly broke her, other than a note saying he was joining the Shinra SOLDIER program she had no news of her son. She fell into a deep depression that lasted several years, until she met a young auburn haired man from Shinra. She knew he was SOLDIER and had begged to know if he knew her son. The man, a commander of SOLDIER has said he knew Tseng personally and was friends with him, he was fine and back at Shinra where he worked for the Department of Administrative research.

Knowing that he was safe and happy Kiyomi returned to her family raising her daughter as best she could and was honestly grateful for Shinra taking over Wutai as it allowed the women the freedom they needed. Even though it came too late and she lost Miyuki because of it, she knows that her son will return someday and so she waits for word from him.

Giggling softly she watched as the man her Tenshi had become walked silently across the grounds of the temple. It was strange seeing him in the dark black suit instead of the traditional clothes she had dressed him in since he was an infant; but they seemed to suit him.

Seeing those dark steel colored eyes turning back towards her she smiled even more moving up to Tseng and resting a hand on his arm gently. “I’ve missed you Tenshi, It has been so long, but I am glad to know that you are alright.” Her smile grew even more as she watched Tseng’s stoic face break and a smile formed on his lips as well. “It’s good to be home finally, Sephiroth had to kick me in the ass to come home..I was honestly afraid of what would happen if i did.”

Giggling softly Kiyomi reached up and gently set a hand on his cheek, “Tenshi, you are my baby nothing you could ever do would make me turn away from you. As long as i am alive you will always be welcomed home, don’t forget that next time.” She playfully tweaked his nose before heading back over to the pond. She felt like crying she was so happy that her beautiful son was home once more, but she wouldn’t.. a woman did not cry in front of a man.
