How We Met - July, 1992 - Private RP Part 2

He frowned a little at the confirmation that his brother had been drinking. Looking at him with a little surprise for the offer, Sephiroth nodded his thanks before getting off the bed to go put the gown away. He almost snatched the jacket, but decided there was no point just yet. Though he was reluctant to do anything that would remove the scent on it, it really should be washed...

Laying down on the bed, he threw a arm over his eyes simply taking in some deep breaths. Thankfully it had only been the one bottle that he had been drank so he was on the verge of being drunk but was still only in the highly buzzed part so thankfully no hangover for him tomorrow. He needed to actually cut back on how much he drank, Reno had gotten him into drinking a lot on the weekends. Now though that he had Sephiroth basically on the weekends he couldn't be hung over or drunk when the boy was here.

Once the box was safely put away, Sephiroth realized he didn't actually know the proper term for it. Tseng had called it a 'gown' but that wasn't a wutain word, he was sure there was another name for it, maybe he'd find out while they were in Little Wutai tomorrow. Before returning, he tried to get some more of the dust off his clothes, succeeding somewhat, but he could feel some clinging to his skin and even hair. He'd have to remember to shower before tonight because he knew the dust would just make it even harder for him to fall asleep. Though it explained why the jacket had gone untouched for so long - likely no one had been in there long enough to find it.

Pausing in the doorway, the fourteen-year-old tilted his head as he took in how Tseng was lying - eyes trailing past him to the empty bottle and wondering how full and how strong it had been.

Tseng lifted his arm slightly hearing Sephiroth stop in the doorway and followed his line of sight. "Don't worry, i'm on the edge of buzzed and drunk, that bottle was not the strongest stuff out there... at least for those with mako in their system." He laid his arm back down but his other patted the bed next to him for Sephiroth to join him.

That made him relax a little, but he still didn't like the possibility that Tseng had drank because of him. Though he knew it was just because of him, his misunderstanding had likely been the trigger for it. Not wanting to be sitting up while Tseng was lying down, he moved over and laid down on his side beside him.

Feeling the bed dip next to him, his arm reached out and pulled Sephiroth up against him nuzzling in happily. "It's been weird not hearing your breathing at night, was actually kind of hard for me to fall asleep the first few nights you had gone back to the tower." He had in such a short amount of time gotten so used to the sound of Sephiroth's breathing and heart beat next to him, with it gone it was hard to fall asleep.

Sephiroth smiled slightly at the admission, raising his left hand to lay on his brother as he settled against him. Likely the only reason he hadn't had the same issue was because Tseng had only stayed the once in his room. It had felt empty... but not really any more than it usually did, he was too tired each night from training to really have much trouble sleeping. He had missed being here.

"When you reach first maybe you will actually be able to tell Shinra to go #%!@ himself and you can come here when ever you want." He would love to tell that fat #%!@ to do exactly that, he shivered at a thought though. "Knowing him he will take it seriously and i'll be on honey bee duty again.." Please Leviathan almighty don't let him get that duty again.

The idea of being able to actually live here with Tseng had a smile on his face again. Still having a room in the Tower even if he was living here could be useful, though. Never knew when he might need to stay at the Tower for whatever reason - and he'd rather do so in a place that was his than one that had been lent. He pointedly ignored the comment about 'honey bee duty' - he did not want to know what his brother's buzzed mind was coming up with.

Sighing softly he turned onto his side facing Sephiroth and curled up against him. "Think i'm gonna take a small nap, let this $#!^ run through my system." He hid a yawn in his arm and curled up more nuzzling into Sephiroth. He felt Anubis jump back on the bed after having left to get something to drink and curl up behind him. "I'm turning into a sandwich I swear."

Sephiroth chuckled quietly, shifting his hand so that it wasn't squished between them. Still feeling rather drained from being so upset, he let his eyes close. Maybe he wasn't actually tired, but just lying here while Tseng slept seemed perfectly acceptable. Honestly he didn't want to go far at the moment.

Tseng woke a while later to the very distinctive sound of a power failure. Blinking his eyes open he was met with total darkness, even though the windows were open there was no moon out tonight and the plate seemed to be in total darkness. "Well isn't this great...." Uncurling himself he sat up and crawled blindly for the edge of the bed. "I know the damn thing is around here.. *whump* ow.....I found the edge of the bed..."

Sephiroth stirred when he'd felt Tseng move, having actually started to fall asleep himself, though not deeply. Shifting over himself to where Tseng had fallen, he folded his arms on the edge and looked over at him. There was never such a thing as total darkness for him except in sleep, as the light from his own eyes allowed him to still make out shapes, though the detail was limited and his usual range of vision dropped to about six feet if he was the only source of light.

Rubbing his head he groaned and looked up, two silver green eyes were looking down at him that were glowing brightly in the darkness. "holy mother of Leviathan!" He jumped and actually managed to fall back onto his back and groaned pointing a finger at Sephiroth. "You and those damn nightlights of yours...gonna give someone a heart attack."

Said eyes rolled as he chuckled, very amused at catching his brother off-guard simply by looking at him. That made.... twice he'd surprised him? Remembering how bad Tseng's night vision was, he held out one hand and formed a flame, careful to keep his fingers curled around it at first so that he didn't practically blind his brother with it.

"Show off..." He growled but smiled and pushed himself up onto his feet and looked around the room, the flame giving off just enough he could see. " Looks like AVALANCHE got to one of the power grids again... Great, well that's SOLDIER problem on the weekend." That was why most AVALANCHE attacks seemed to happen on the weekend, the Turks were pretty much all off after 1300 and you couldn't get them out to do anything after that. "I have some candles in the storage closet, just in case this happens."
