Feeling the power building up behind him Tseng released Sephiroth's hand slamming his eyes shut as the blue light slammed into the leader throwing him across the room. Seeing the frog now hopping across the room from where the leader had been thrown he couldn't help the small bark of a laugh through the gag, oh that was friken great! Knowing they only had a matter of moments before the shock wore off from the men Tseng latched onto the knot he had been searching for in Sephiroth's bonds and quickly started to untie it.

they must not have seen the boy as as big a threat as he wasn't tied nearly as tightly as he himself was.

The moment his hands were free, Sephiroth pushed himself up - and drove a fist into the gut of the man who'd approached with a needle in hand. More tranquilizers? Not happening. The needle clattered to the stone floor in time with a second strike to his head - the man didn't get back up. The man's fall was enough to send a number of others into motion, some towards them, some away - he could hear one opening a pack.

Twisting around as best he could, ignoring the sharp stabbing pain by one of his lung, he curled up and drove his bound feet into one of the men that came running towards them. Until he was released there wasn't much that he could do in the way of helping.

Seeing the Turk was trying to break loose a man ran up and grabbed the ropes around his ankles and started to drag him off away from the SOLDIER while the kid was distracted.

He was starting to wish he'd spent more time training his Limits - it was going to take a while to gather the energy to use one again. It wasn't as if they were giving him enough time to untie his feet. He tripped one man up with enough force to break his nose on the stone floor. Seeing a knife on his belt, he snatched it and rolled onto his back to dodge a swing at his face. He slashed at the rope binding his feet, the clumsy strike biting through both the rope and into the leather of one of his boots. He kicked the man who'd tried to clock him in the face, and rolled to his feet.

He didn't about it - he threw the knife at the man trying to drag Tseng away. It wasn't a knife meant for throwing - but all the same he heard it bite deep into flesh as he turned away.

Seeing the knife and not caring if the guy was dead or not as he fell, pulled his body up into a sitting position and grabbed the knife with this feet managing to pull it from the body. Now came the fun part, shifting onto his knees he leaned back and managed to saw through the bindings on his wrist with out tearing into his own flesh.

Having his hands free allowed him to make quick work on the rest of the binding. Standing he shoved the blade deep into a mans throat before ripping it out and throwing it into the back of the head of a man trying to take Sephiroth from behind.

Feeling a weight against his back, Sephiroth pulled away, only to feel the body collapse to the ground as he did so, the same knife he'd thrown protruding from the back of his head. Amid his distraction, one man took the opportunity to throw a loop of rope. Sephiroth looked down at it incredulously - a lasso, really? - before reaching up with one arm and tugging hard enough on it to send him reeling forward into a raised knee.

Unwinding the rope, he hefted it thoughtfully, and then smirked. Sephiroth might have no idea how to throw a lasso . . . but it didn't mean he couldn't manage just fine at tangling another two men up in it to get them out of the way.

"$#$ man where the hell did all those....." The last few men fell silent as the cave went pitch black, the fires all being smothered, leaving only the very faint glowing embers deep in the smoldering wood. With the darkness came silence, other than the frog that was once their leader croaking somewhere towards the back of the cave none of the men dared speak, eyes and ears trained for any movement.

A very sinister smirk crossed over Tseng lips as he moved silently through the darkness, his ears trained on the breathing of the men. Moving up to one he slipped a hand over his mouth making sure the man didn't make a single noise and drove the blade he had stolen from another corpse up through the side of his rib cage. The man instantly went limp in his arms and he laid him down on the ground silently before stalking off killing another several this way.

He needed to find Sephiroth and get out of here while they had a chance. He hoped the young boy with his Mako enhancements could see him even if Tseng couldn't.

With the darkness, Sephiroth found himself relaxing somewhat. He'd always felt a little more comfortable in darkness, more alert. Perhaps it helped that he could still see quite clearly in it. Glancing around, it was fairly easy to pick out Tseng from the remaining four men, as he was still practically naked and his bruised skin showed far more easily than the dark-colored clothes the Anti-Shinra seemed to all favor. Softening his breathing, he trailed after him as quietly as he could manage, knowing better than to approach him fully until he acknowledged it was him - he didn't want to try to dodge a knife.

Hearing something behind him, Tseng slowly started to tense up, his fingers changing from a relaxed grip on the dagger to a combative grip. He tilted his head slightly allowing his ears to pick up on the soft nearly silent breathing behind him. He did a quick mental catalog of where everything was, the frog and someone chasing after it were back towards the back still, the mans breathing hard as he was chasing it around. Heavy deep breathing could be heard on the floor from those that were simply knocked out, two more were across the room heavy and their movement was shifty...that only left. "Otouto?" He said softly knowing if it was Seph he would hear him.

Sephiroth relaxed at the term, smiling slightly in the dark. "Niisan," he returned just as quietly, stepping within arm's reach. Closer, he could now see just how much the bruising had worsened. Hopefully Tseng could get properly treated soon - or at least get another potion to tide him over.

There was a faint pop from the back of the cave, and Sephiroth froze, there was now one more person in the dark with them . . .

Hearing this as well he looked back trying to decide if it was really worth it. Knowing Sephiroth had moved closer he reached out setting a hand on his head feeling the long silk like strands. "We have a choice, well three actually. We kill him...and everyone here. Capture him and hand him over to Veld whenever the decided to show their happy ass up...or we make a break for it and hope they are still here when said jack asses finally show up."

He honestly wasn't to against the whole just getting the hell out of here. His body was on fire and it was becoming almost impossible to keep his breathing as quiet as it was. He had a sharp pain in his chest where the last brutal kick had landed, he had no doubt one of the broken bones was pressing in against his lung, but since he wasn't coughing or spitting up blood it hadn't punctured..yet. But this was Sephiroth's mission, the call was his.

Option one . . . he'd rather not. Option two was closer to protocol . . . Option three . . . Four unenhanced humans in the dark - who quite possibly had healing items - and most definitely had the Fire Materia he'd spent months of training on. If they ran, they'd get the fires back up, wake up those that weren't dead . . . and follow them.

"They don't stand much chance in the dark." He paused, tilting his head, "Perhaps Veld will treat him to the same level of hospitality as you were given."

He really had to bite his lip on that one, oh yes, that man would be given the luxury accommodations... He found out very quickly that Turks were masters of torture and interrogation. Death would be a release from what Veld would do to him... but he wasn't going to tell Sephiroth that, let the boy keep what little innocents he had left.

Nodding slightly he gently pulled on Sephiroth's bangs, "think you can capture and tie up the leader..I'll dispatch the rest." He would save Sephiroth from as much killing as he possibly could. "Do you see my swords at all?" He would much rather be fighting with those then this horribly made blade, besides... those were expensive blades.

"Easy." He skimmed the ground for the weapons in question and found them lying on a piece of broken stone with a number of other weapons, "Ten paces to your left." Slipping away quietly, Sephiroth located another length of rope and coiled it around his arm. It wasn't hard to locate the once-frog, and a good hit to the back of his head had him on the ground.

Pacing out the amount of steps he smiled seeing being able to see his weapons from the tiny bit of light his adjusted eyes could see with. He quickly picked up his blades plus a few of his missing knives and daggers, though where to place them was sort of an issue at the moment. finding a bag near by he put the smaller weapons into it and set it aside, all he would need are his swords for this next bit.

Dispatching the rest of the men, he cracked a glow stick he had found among some supplies he had nearly stumbled over and moved over to Sephiroth and chuckled. "mmm, we need to teach you how to hog tie." Kneeling down he made quick work of securing their now prisoner, making sure the ropes were tight enough he would not slip out. "He's the only one alive, and he isn't going anywhere.... If you want to bring him to the front of the cave, I'll go out and keep watch for the Turks."

"Wasn't a skill I thought I'd need to learn," Sephiroth returned wryly. He did however, make a point of noting the changes Tseng made. Hauling the man up by the back of his shirt, he cast Tseng a glance, "And the rest of our gear? I didn't bring much other than standard issue . . . but I want my Fire back."

"I am so keeping my perverted mouth shut on that comment." Wow why was his mind going into the gutter so much tonight? Chuckling he started around the room holding the glow stick up so it cast enough light he could see. "Go ahead and go up and sit, I'll see if i can track it down, keep an eye and ear out for Veld... That SOB better be close or I am so going to kick his ass."

Mumbling about really dead bosses now Tseng went about searching for the Fire materia

Sephiroth made a point of not only dragging rather than carrying the man, but also not avoiding anything that happened to be on the ground, both inside the cavern and along the short tunnel leading out. He dragged him away from the cave mouth and dropped him in a clear spot free of any rubble. It was about mid-morning, he gauged, and the terrain around the entrance was rather cluttered. Instead of standing by the captive, he jumped up to a ledge about fifteen feet up - it gave him a much better view of the area.

Tseng had just moved out of the cave, the rest of his pilfered weapons and Sephiroth's fire materia in hand when he heard it in the distance. A helicopter...

"Well about god damn time..." He stopped mid step coughing hard. Letting out a small groan at the blood that coated his hand he quickly wiped it off on the ground. Last thing he wanted to do was freak the kid out... "Otouto.. do you love your Niisan?" he called up to where the boy was holding up the fire materia.

That didn't sound good.... Sephiroth immediately leapt down, landing only feet away. He looks even worse in the light. He'd also apparently not been able to find any clothes in his search . . . He bit back the desire to ask him how he was. It'd likely do no more than annoy him at this point. He offered a small smile all the same, "Thanks, Niisan."

"Yeah yeah I know I'm basically naked, come now I know you probably showered in the locker room with the rest of cadets, I don't have anything they don't have." He waved Sephiroth off a smile on his face and moved over to a tree and gingerly sat down leaning against it making sure not to put to much pressure on his poor abused back. "Send off a couple fireballs.. they are out there I can hear them.. I don't know of many people around that own black hawks."

Rolling the crystalline orb between his fingers, it took Sephiroth a moment to tap into the spells inside. Freehand casting wasn't something he had been taught, but it didn't mean he hadn't pulled it off before with how often he used it. Fires were flashy enough in the morning light and against the mountainous backdrop, as well as quicker to cast, he sent three up as high as he could sustain, one after the other. He waited until the count of ten, then sent another consecutive three up.

Should do it.

Watching the fireballs streak up into the air, he smiled a sense of relief filling him, especially as he heard the helicopter turning heading in their direction. "Seph, look for the Shinra logo...if they don't have it we need to run and fast." He turned away another set of chest rattling coughs hitting him. This better be Veld, I'm in trouble other wise He quickly wiped the blood off on the grass again and spit out a small amount still in his mouth. That would be one taste he would never grow accustomed to.. or like...

Sephiroth had been able to recognize the Shinra Logo since before he could say the name properly. Considering he was fairly certain he'd seen it every single day of his life, this wasn't very surprising. He had to move to the side to get a proper angle on it, but once he did, it was easy to make out and he shot Tseng a nod. It was hard to make out how many people were inside, but as it came closer he was fairly certain he could see three people in the cockpit.

A soft sigh was his only response, dark eyes watching as the helicopter put down on a flat level spot. As if his body realized it was safe, it shut down, black closing in over his vision faster than he could realize what was happening.

The chopper had barely touched down before the side door was slid open and Veld stepped out, his own dark eyes taking in the scene in a glance. Seeing his newest Turk in nothing but his boxers, covered in darkening bruises and currently slumping over unconscious put him into motion. Racing over he glances over Sephiroth assessing his own possible injuries, seeing no obvious ones other than rope burn and bruises that would heal in no time, he knelt down next to his junior Turk. His chest and back and part of his abdomen were covered in bruises, two of which had the very distinct pattern of boots. "Katana, med kit." He knew his man couldn't be cured so didn't dare even mention the materia. Checking his pulse is was still strong thankfully, but his breathing was labored and almost like he was trying to breath through fluid.

"Sephiroth, report." He gently supported Tseng's head as Katana raced back over with the med kit, but was looking at Sephiroth.
