| This was . . . Veld. He was older than the last time he'd seen him, but he hadn't changed much from the man he'd met in the halls six years ago. Tearing his gaze away from Tseng, he nodded, "Director."
"We camped about two miles west of the Farm the first night. Four men came onto the camp after dark, Tseng was asleep, and I didn't hear them. I was struck hard enough to cause a concussion." he paused, frowning as he realized just how little he actually remembered . . . "Tseng received several injuries before getting lose and killing three of them. The fourth escaped. We gathered our gear and returned to the Farm for the rest of the night, wear we both received minimal treatment. Tseng attempted to call you the following morning, and we headed north. They found our second campsite that evening, with approximately twenty men in total. They were armed with insufficiently strong tranquilizers, and several were killed before they succeeded in sedating both of us."
"We regained consciousness approximately one hour ago, Tseng had been stripped and we had both been bound. Their . . . leader," he cast a look in the unconscious and bound man's body. "spoke to us and injured Tseng further. He intended to separate us and interrogate Tseng, but I used a Limit Break that subdued him. Several of his men ran, anyone that remained is now dead, except for him." | |

| Nodding Veld turned back to Katana, "status.." Katana looked over slightly from where he was working an winding a bandage around Tseng's chest. "Broken ribs, one or more have possibly punctured a lung which is causing the labored breathing, Severe bruising around his torso and hips suggesting a possible hip injury as well. Rope burns from where he struggled, a relocated shoulder if the bruising is anything to go by. Black eye suggesting a hit or multiple hits to the face, we're gonna have to get him to Midgar ASAP."
Veld's eyes darkened as he glanced over to the unconscious figure of the leader. "Well, it looks like our own was treated to such wonderful hospitality. Rude, take Tseng to the helicopter.. Reno grab our 'guest'"
Reno actually skipped past whistling some happy tune. "Course Dictator.. i mean.. director." Rude simply shook his head as he carefully picked the young Turk up making sure to be mindful of his injuries. Katana packed up the medical supplies and grabbed the bag of weapons that had been next to Tseng and headed back to the chopper... Reno still whistling behind them as he drug the captive by his ankle bonds.
Veld resisted the urge to clock the red head on said head as he walked by. "Gaia give me strength...Come Sephiroth." | |
