Sword of Legends - August 1992 - Private RP

Sephiroth supposed he hadn't been... he was used to scheduled meals, and meals with Tseng were a bit more haphazard. He winced slightly at the volume of Reno's shout, hoping that there wouldn't be a repeat while they were in the same vehicle... Nodding to his brother, he watched him move away for a moment before climbing in. Very purposefully, he spread out a little, not putting it past anyone to just snag Tseng's requested seat without asking.

"Hey Sephiroth." Nan was sitting on the front bench leaning up against the wall, he hadn't really seen the boy since the blow up. He gave him a small smile not really sure if the teen still wanted to hit him or not. Things hadn't gone back to exactly how they were, he and Tseng had made up during the past few weeks, but it was still slightly strained. He could tell that Tseng didn't fully forgive him, not unless he did some drastic changes... which he was. He had quit alcohol all together and had been seeing a specialist to help with the addiction. It wasn't only for Tseng or the other Turks, though they were the largest, Veld when he got back and found out what happened had been absolutely furious and threatened that if $#!^ didn't change, he was out of a job.

Katana joined him up on the front seat and leaned back holding out a cream tube to Sephiroth. "Here.. You'll need to help Tseng put that on, there is something in the SOLDIER uniform that just irritates the hell out of his skin."

He looked back at the blond as he drew his attention, a little wary still despite how he'd sought refuge in his apartment. Sephiroth wasn't sure what Nan had thought of his creative use of fire either... The relative trust he'd had for Nan when they'd met that first morning had been rather thoroughly shattered by the incident, and while he'd trust the blond to protect him from others... he didn't think he'd be able to drop his guard in his presence without others he trusted around at the moment.

Katana was a welcome distraction, green eyes flicking away from the blond as he took the tube from him.

"I am so friken glad I never made SOLDIER." Tseng pulled himself into the van in only a pair of blue camo cargo pants, he had a backpack in the other and ear buds hanging around his neck. Already you could see angry red patches of skin where the shirt had been coming in contact with his skin. "Cadets had to be a nightmare for you." Nan leaned around slightly looking at him. "You have no idea.." Tseng shooed Sephiroth out of his spot and sat down but kept his back from touching anything. "And the thing about cadets, if it wasn't life threatening you just had to sit down, shut up and take it." Opening up the backpack he pulled out a small travel pillow and a book handing it to Sephiroth, "the hobbit, Reno said you hadn't read any this series yet and it's the pinnacle of fantasy books."

Shifting into his own seat, Sephiroth set the pillow aside for the moment. The book had him glancing back at Reno before deciding there wasn't really any point in getting annoyed at the redhead for knowing what books he had read. It wasn't as if it was something embarrassing. It did look interesting at a glance...

Having spotted how his brother was avoiding touching the seat, he set the book down as well. Sephiroth didn't even bother asking, just nudged Tseng into turning so that he could start applying the cream to the splotches on his back.

Smirking he obeyed with out question pulling his hair over his shoulder for the moment, last thing he needed was to get what ever Seph was putting on his back into his hair. "You boys all ready?" The group glanced up hearing Veld, seeing him looking back at them from the front passenger seat. A normal Shinra driver would be driving the vans leaving the Turks to laze about on the drive over. "All the bags are put away, do you all have something to keep you entertained? Its a four hour drive to the harbor, and I am not putting on a porno so don't even suggest it Reno." Reno shut his mouth and slumped down in the seat next to Rude pouting.

The others laughed and turned back to Veld. "I swear, I feel like the chaperone on a high school field trip."

"You basically are Veld." Katana smirked at the older man who was simply glaring at him. "What you are, no one in this van except for you and the driver are over the age of twenty three, youngest being just two months shy of fifteen.. this is filled with basically high schoolers." Groaning Veld sat down putting his seat belt on. "Gaia help me..." Reaching up Veld hit a button causing a few small TV screens to flip down from the roof. "There a movie now hush you lot.."

"Ahhh Veld this better not be some kids....oh.. lord of the rings.." Reno instantly hushed up sitting back and grabbing the small head phones. "That will keep them all occupied.."

Tseng snorted shaking his head and gently leaned just his shoulders on the side of the van and motioned for Seph to come lean against him. "Here.. you should like this, it's that series." He pointed to the book. "Veld always turns these movies on if we're driving on long trips for vacations, they are really long and they keep your attention... and keep Reno quiet."

Sephiroth capped the tube once he finished with it, smiling slightly as he listened to the banter between half of his 'family'. He had to wonder if a similar conversation was going on in the other van. On second thought, it was likely a more amusing one considering half the occupants were female. Having been away from his brother for weeks, he was more than willing to lean against him when invited, and snickered at the tagged on words.

He held out a couple ear pieces for Sephiroth so he could listen and watch if he wanted. Grabbing a second slightly bigger pillow he laid it behind his head, getting as comfortable as he could and wrapped his arms around Sephiroth holding him gently. "Ohh no fair, you'll get cuddly with him but not with me?" Katana was watching them, pouting. "Hey Katana.. " Tseng held up both his hands flipping him off. "Stereo..."

"Akera.. Fair.... behave."

"Yes daddy!" The two echoed and laughed as Veld started hitting his head on the dashboard. Tseng was grateful for the tinted windows keeping a good portion of the midday sun out and helping to keep the van cool since he had a mako heater on his chest at the moment.

Sephiroth smiled a little impishly at Katana's pout and complaint. Though... he had the feeling he may regret or be very glad of his teasing back in two months time... He did make a mental note of Katana's last name being 'Fair', he still hadn't learned what his first name was - and it didn't feel right asking anyone.

Maybe about an hour out, he started to find it difficult to focus on the movie, eyes gradually drifting shut. Maybe it was still relatively early, but Sephiroth was comfortable, and had his brother, his uncle, and the Turk he was interested in all in the same place for the next while. He didn't fall properly asleep, drifting instead on the edge of consciousness.

At some point during the movie, Tseng himself started to fall asleep. He had seen these movies a dozen times since their release and knew it pretty well. It didn't help having Sephiroth leaning up against him was both a comfort he had been painfully aware he was lacking these past few weeks, and like having a nice warm blanket. He absently pulled Sephiroth up a little higher so he could use the pillow and nuzzle into his hair.

Moving carefully so as not to wake the two, Rude pulled out his camera and snapped a few picture of the two. It still amazed most of them how close the two were.

It was already dark by the time the vans pulls up to the dock. Blinking his eyes open at the sound of increased movement and doors opening, Tseng rubbed at his eyes yawning slightly. "mm here already?" Stretching he breathed in deep instantly getting hit with the scent of the sea. "Ohh I missed that smell."

The salty air had Sephiroth's nose wrinkling at the unfamiliar smell even before he slowly opened his eyes and refocused on his surroundings. For a moment he stayed still, noting what each person was doing, but once he felt Tseng shifting under him he sat up a little and stretched somewhat himself. Not quite fully awake despite his apparent alertness he plucked the earbuds from his ears and looked to Tseng.

Stretching enough to pop his back, he shooed Sephiroth off and pulled his now dead leg out, trying to rub some life into it. "Asleep?" Katana asked packing up the things he had brought with him. "mmhmm.. and...waking... up..oh ow.." God he hated when his legs woke up. Packing up the few things he had pulled out he stood up and limped out of the van, trying hard not to put any weight on the leg that now had pins and needles shooting up it.

Smiling he closed his eyes simply listening to the sounds of the gulls and the ocean lapping up against the beach. He used to go out on the small beaches and the cliffs of Wutai all the time with his mother, they had beautiful oceans out there. "Whoa!! are we seriously stealing Shinra's yacht?" Blinking his eyes open Tseng looked over and felt his jaw hit the ground, for the first time ever seeing one of the rare luxury mega yachts that Shinra owned. "Holy Leviathan.. that's not a boat that a floating mansion"

With several squeals from the girls, almost as one the group of Turks took off for the boat. Tseng held back waiting for Sephiroth and held out his hand for him.

Snagging Tseng's hand as he got out, he blinked a little owlishly as he caught sight of what they were going on about. Tilting his head slightly, he murmured, "I didn't know boats came that big." Admittedly, he hadn't seen any boats before except in pictures, so he'd never formed a scale of reference.

"Don't feel bad neither did I.." He walked up to the boat at a much slower pace, keeping back with Veld and Phil who was given the chance to come with. In his words, they were #%!@ing crazy if they thought they were leaving him behind. In his absence some of the Turks who were stationed in Junon were brought to Midgar to man Shinra and the apartment.

Walking up the ramp, the rest of the Turks were all standing around waiting for Veld and orders. Moving onto the deck Tseng brought Sephiroth to stand in front of him and wrapped his arms around him. "Alright you lot of nut cases, it going to take roughly till dawn to reach Costa del Sol. This yacht had enough rooms for everyone to have one to themselves, they have all been cleaned, though Shinra's has been locked for your own personal safety.. and continued sanity what little we all have left. Go ahead and find what ever room you want, any fights break out over a room the two parties fighting to get sleep on deck with no blankets or pillows." He sent a pointed look at Rod and Two gun since they loved to fight over rooms.

" I know most of you were alseep on the ride over, but you all still need to eat, especially our two growing young boys." This time his look was directed at Tseng and Sephiroth making the Wutain Turk blush. "So find your rooms, get settled and come back onto the main aft deck in forty five minutes time... dismissed."

With yips and shouts the group took off into the ship. "You want to share a room, or do you want your own?" Tseng asked pulling Sephiroth down into the ship. The inside showed the wealth of Shinra, but also his arrogance and narcissism.

Sephiroth knew better than a skip a meal right now, not when he had been eating almost twice what he usually did lately. He might've been able to get away with skipping a meal before... but that was usually with a snack in it's place. He didn't even need to think about his answer, "Share?" A week had been one thing.... but the quarantine had been many times longer and he'd missed Tseng.

"Why are you asking that as a question, I was the one that offered it." Leaning down he kissed the top of his head. "Lets go find a room then huh, one hopefully with a big enough bed you won't kick me out and call me a bad panther." He was never going to let the teen live that down, ever.

Moving down away from the girls, he found the general area the men were staying in. "What rooms are taken so far Rude?" Rude poked his head back out the door. "mm we're hanging something on the door if they are taken, should make it easier." He pointed to his tie which was wrapped around the gold door knob. Looking down the line he could see random things hanging on door knobs, including a pair of chocobo boxers. "That is either Reno or Rod's room..." Shaking his head he moved down to a section that still had two door with nothing on them. "hmm.. lets try this one." He went for the one on the left and blinked slowly moving in.

The room was decorated in rich woods, with cream and rich red accents. The bed was massive easily fitting both boys, and there was enough room for them to move around with out feeling crowded. "Think this one is a keeper?"

Sephiroth bit back his retort of how he was rather sure he didn't actually kick him that night. He'd accept the 'bad panther' bit though... Tseng was a bad panther, a perverted one. He had dark hair, he purred, he was deadly... that it was his spirit animal only made it more official.

He looked past Tseng into the room, eyes trailing over the contents with steadily rising brows. It vaguely reminded him of his own room in Tseng's apartment. That was likely just the colors, though. Smiling slightly, he nodded, "Yeah."

"Good." he Moved fully into the room but pulled his headphones off and ran back to the door wrapping them around the handle to show the room was taken. "Remind me to ask Veld to add something like this to the Turk contract. That lovely, you will give us this or you'll be sorry contract." Setting his backpack down he wondered when their actual bags would be brought in and jumped up on the bed. It was a little harder than he liked, but they were only staying two nights total so didn't matter much. "That's how we got away with this vacation and kidnapping you in the process. I packed your bag from some of the clothes in your dresser, even the swim short we bought you." Kind of had to have those, though Katana had made the comment when it was brought up, that he wouldn't mind if Sephiroth went commando. That had gotten him a very large hard bound book thrown at his head from Tseng.

Sephiroth was a little perplexed why Tseng would feel it necessary to specifically mention packing his swim shorts. It would've been rather a given to pack swimwear for a trip to the beach wouldn't it? What he'd said about the contract, however, was much more interesting. "There's something in your contract that gives you permission to kidnap me?"

Stretching he curled up on his pillow nuzzling into it, "I can't wait to get out there.. clean air, sun, clear blue ocean.... some beautiful eye candy.." He opened a single eye and looked over to Sephiroth, "or in your case.. you are the eye candy." He loved teasing him, but he was working on keeping it to a minimum, no the real teasing would come after the Halloween party. He glanced up though at the question. "I don't know what's in the contract, all I know is that Veld gets away with a lot of stuff and in turn so do we. What I do know for sure in the contract is Shinra has no say in who is hired, and he can not dismiss any of us with out Veld's consent, our apartment's are completely paid for and custom built for each Turk. We're allowed certain items during the building paid for by the company, anything extra we have to buy. Our paychecks are some of the highest and can not be dropped at any point.. And we are not restricted to Midgar like SOLDIER is, we can leave at any time." He shrugged turning more into his pillow. "Have you thought about what you want for a costume for your birthday party?"

It'd be interesting to read all the clauses in that contract. Though, considering how dangerous the people were that the contract covered, maybe it was no wonder that he let them get away with so much - he didn't want them to turn their skills against him. He blinked at the seemingly random question as he moved over to sit on the edge of the bed, shaking his head. He hadn't thought much at all about it over the last few weeks, too busy trying to keep himself busy as a distraction. "Not really."

"We'll have to see if we can find you something, don't let Katana suggest anything, what ever he does most likely will end up with you in a speedo." He had tried that with him on his first halloween, Gun had been the one to save him from that little embarrassment. "I learned that first hand.. he tried to put me in a males version of the playboy bunny suit..." Stretching he sat up and looked around. "Think there is a bathroom in here?"

Sephiroth pointed at a door behind Tseng that seemed to be trying to blend into the wall and doing a very bad job of it, "There, maybe." It didn't seem like a closet, but considering how few closets he had actually seen... he couldn't really be sure.

Wandering over to it he pulled the door open and blinked. "Okay.. this is not what I was expecting.." The bathroom was pretty damn big for being on a boat. There was a decent size shower, a tub, toilet and a sink. "Oh yeah so telling Veld to put this on our contract." He could just imagine missions that they needed to be out on the water for, no one would ever suspect them of being in something like this, hell might actually help them catch morons that tried to rob ships like these.

"I'm gonna take a quick shower, are you going to want one? or just wait till after food?"

Flopping onto his back on the bed, Sephiroth looked over at him. Between the words and how Tseng's voice was echoing slightly, he guessed the bathroom was definitely bigger than a Thirds. How big... he didn't really care to investigate at the moment. "Later," Sephiroth replied. It would mean sleeping with damp hair.... but it wasn't as if he hadn't done so a number of times since he'd started growing it out.
