Sword of Legends - August 1992 - Private RP

Pulling his gaze away from the dolphins momentarily at the hand on his head, Sephiroth took in his brother's expression. He noted the usage of past tense, a flicker of confusion joining the fascination and curiosity. Was it just a case of accidentally using the wrong tense, or had something happened to change their behavior? The war... or something else?

A sudden yawn had him turning away, raising a hand up to his mouth in a bid to hide it. "I'm going to head back down and sleep, go ahead and stay up, finish your food and socialize.. but make sure the over grown puppy doesn't try and lead you into his lair." Leaning down he kissed his head, giving him a tight hug before heading back down to try and get a little bit of sleep.. and hopefully the sea would be nice to him tonight.

Socialize... his brow furrowed slightly at that word. Sephiroth didn't really know how to socialize, only having a partial grasp of how to react to others trying to socialize with him. There wasn't much opportunity to learn to socialize when you were raised isolated from others. The mental image of Katana as a puppy, however, had him smiling again as he watched his brother leave.

Sephiroth watched the dolphins for a while longer, but soon enough returned to his food, still feeling rather hungry.

"Feels good to be miles from Shinra huh?" Katana sat down across from him smiling and leaned back on his own chair. "And to know that we will be more than fourteen hours away from it by any means.." He sighed softly closing his eyes, "it's a wonderful feeling.. too bad your warden is here."

"It's only the second time I've been away from Midgar that I can remember," Sephiroth admitted, smiling slightly at the impatience calling Tseng his warden hinted at. Now that he'd heard the comparison, he thought the label of 'puppy' rather suited Katana, or rather Balto. More of a partially-grown canine than a young puppy though, he was a little too calm and confident to be a proper puppy.

"Balto when was the last time you got laid?" Gun sat down behind Sephiroth, and was soon joined by Knife who sat down at the front of the deck chair. "About a week before I found out Sephiroth was attracted to me." The girls made an awww noise Gun wrapping her arms around the young teen. "Isn't that romantic, he's waiting for you." She playfully leaned up kissing Sephiroth's cheek and nuzzled up against him. "You two are just adorable."

"Aww we doing a group hug?" Shotgun jumped in on the other side and soon enough all three girls were hugging Sephiroth tightly. "The littlest Turk is growing up!"

He'd stilled at the first hug, and frozen completely with wide eyes at the kiss on his cheek. While he found himself strangely happy to be considered a Turk by the three girls - he had utterly no idea what to do about the fact that they were hugging him. They'd barely touched him before, even Tseng had worked up from brief touch until reaching the level of comfort they now had. Katana had been a bit more abrupt... but he'd still started out with brief platonic touch.

Seeing what was coming before it happened, Katana reached out grabbing Sephiroth's plate just before Reno tackled the group sending them all to the deck, the girls all squealing. "Group hug!!" The girls all laughed as Reno hugged them all tightly.

Setting Sephiroth's plate down on the chair Katana moved so he could look at the boy. "Don't you just feel absolutely loved right at this moment? Or did Tseng not warn you when you found out your father was a Turk, you became family... and this is what the family likes to do."

He'd reflexively relaxed as Reno bowled them over, and just sighed with a slightly put-upon expression. The only way he was getting out of the tangle of limbs before those clinging to him released him was by harming or offending someone. Neither seemed like an acceptable route. "He must have forgotten to show me the fine print mentioning spontaneous group hugs," Sephiroth replied, testing to see if he could wriggle free but even after being knocked over the girls had a tight hold.

"Looks like he did, well, get used to them lover... they happen alot. Okay you harpies.. off." The girls all giggled and after each one leaned down kissing Sephiroth they stood up and moved away. Katana held his hand out to help Sephiroth to his feet as Reno retreated. "But, take it for what it is.. they have accepted you into the family. It's hard to earn a Turks trust.. but once you have it.. you have it for life." Well unless you did something stupid then you lost it forever.

Flushing lightly from the successive kisses and beyond glad that Reno hadn't joined in, Sephiroth accepted the hand up. His expression was thoughtful as he mused over Katana's words. Sephiroth supposed maybe he could get used to getting hugged by the other Turks, it'd take awhile though, as he hadn't really formed any specific attachment to most of them. He doubted he would actually initiate such touch with all but a very few for a year or more, however.

Sitting down once more Katana pulled Sephiroth down onto his lap and wrapped his arms around him, resting his chin on his shoulder. "Too bad your warden is such a stick in the mud, would steal you to night just to sleep next to you." He closed his eyes ignoring the cat calls from across the deck from the slowly getting more drunk Turks. Thankfully Nan hadn't taken any of the alcohol, seemed his sessions were working.

Sephiroth blinked, relaxing a little into Katana's embrace. There were a few ways he could take that suggestion. The most prominent being that either Katana wanted to torture himself, or that he had more restraint than some of his actions hinted at. He tilted his back a little to better look at the taller male, his smile a little impish, "Don't want to risk an angry assassin after you?"

Katana raised his eyes looking at Sephiroth out of the corner of them. "Are you kidding? Did Nan not teach you anything?" Tseng was damn scary when he was that angry. "I take you before your fifteen which seems to be the general consensus with us is the youngest age allowed... With how protective he is of you. Yeah we are likely to see a repeat of that day, only it's my ass he's looking to skin and hang on his wall as a trophy." He tilted his head kissing the side of his neck. "As torturous as this is.. Having a pissed off Assassin looking to castrate me is not worth it, I can wait two months."

Closing his eyes on feeling the kiss against his neck, Sephiroth mused that maybe Tseng was more like his Obāsan than he'd like to admit. The impish smile was replaced by an affectionate one at the words. He felt almost like he should be offended that Katana was afraid of Tseng's wrath... but it also meant he was interested enough to be patient.

"Boy is way to much like his mother." Katana shivered, during her short stay the Turks had all come to know the fire cracker that was Kiyomi Akera. "She is one scary woman, not someone I wanna meet in a dark alley... you on the other hand. I would love to meet up in a dark alleyway." His grip around him tightened laying a few more kisses up his neck. "You're pushing it Balto..." Katana didn't even look away just nuzzled in behind his ear. "I know my limits Rude, not like i'm fondling him."

Rude rolled his eyes behind his glasses and looked to his partner. "Who get's to throw the first item if he starts being a pervert?"

Sephiroth opened one eye to look over at their apparent chaperone, though perhaps chaperones would be more accurate. He didn't doubt there were a few others who would take up the right of throwing something at Katana. Considering the vague comments Katana was making, and the lips on his neck, he was fairly sure most would already say he was 'being a pervert' already.

"They are such cockblocks aren't they.." He gave one last kiss to his neck and laid his head back on his shoulder. "Tseng was right though.. you are a walking mako heater." Sephiroth was really warm, he was going to have to make sure to put the lighter blankets on the bed when he managed to steal the SOLDIER.

"Alright you lot.. bed time lets move." There were groans and whines from everyone as Veld started to shoo them off into the cabin. "Daddy why do we have a... OH $#!^!" Rod charged off as Veld cracked a literal whip behind the boy. "Do we even want to know where you got that from?"

"No... no you don't."

Quiet laughter had Sephiroth shaking slightly, he wondered for a moment where his uncle had gotten the whip... When his brain started slip into forbidden territory, he backtracked sharply. He did not want to think about what was in the President's room. Not. At. All. As a distraction from his distasteful thoughts, he turned his head and pressed a light kiss to Katana's cheek as he moved to get up, "Good night, Balto." He used the name in place of the call-sign he knew him by almost as an afterthought.

Katana smiled at that and pulled Sephiroth down kissing him deeply, wrapping his hand around the back of his neck. Pulling back he smirked, " good night beautiful." He ducked down as Reno threw something at him. "Come on Seph, before he gets any other idea's." Setting a hand on his head Reno steered him back toward their room.

Opening the door he peeked in seeing it was pretty dark, but the curtins on small round windows had been left open allowing the moon light to come in. Tseng was fast asleep on the bed, hair braided to keep it from his face and had left the side closest to the windows open for Sephiroth to slip in. "Well I'll see you tomorrow good night Seph."

Maybe it was a good thing that Reno had been keeping an eye on them, because if he hadn't thrown something Sephiroth was fairly sure it would've been a few seconds before he remember he was supposed to be going to bed. As it was, it snapped him out of his momentary daze long enough to throw a smile at the Gongagan before he was led away.

"Good night, Reno," Sephiroth said quietly, nodding to him as he closed the door. Not wanting to wake Tseng after how tired he had seemed earlier, the Third aimed for as much silence as he could manage as he slipped into bed. He didn't fall asleep right away, but the sound of the waves and Tseng's presence made sleep come much quicker than it otherwise would have in an unfamiliar bed.

Feeling the bed shift downwards, Tseng awoke long enough to recognize the fall of silver hair, and shifted closer throwing his arm around the young boy's waist and pulled him up flush nuzzling into his hair. He quickly fell back asleep content and feeling that security that was always then when Sephiroth was in the same bed.

It felt like he had just fallen asleep when he heard the loud distinctive sound of an air horn being blasted in the hallway. "Rise and shine children, Weeeee'rrrreeeeee hhheeeeeerrrrrreeeeee." That man was way to awake this early in the morning.

"Ow," Sephiroth stated sourly, though it hadn't really hurt - just jarred him awake. He turned his head into Tseng's shoulder. That had been loud... "Are we really here or is trying to trick us?" He murmured, still not fully awake despite the loud wake up call. ...and here he'd thought that listening to a dozen alarm clocks going off at once every morning was bad.

"We're either here.. or close to where the ship is docking." Tseng groaned out, turning in more against Sephiroth. He was not exactly a morning person and he did not hide this fact. Someone most likely Veld pounded on the cabin door, "up Tseng.. I know you.. you are not going right back to sleep." That made the young Wutain snort and reluctantly sit up. Veld knew him all to well, he had a nasty habit of just going right back to sleep if someone didn't make sure he got his ass out of bed.

Opening his eyes as Tseng sat up, Sephiroth tried to wake up a little more. Though part of him just wanted to go back to sleep, the horn and yelling had woken him up enough that such a thing would've been a little difficult. Stifling a small yawn as he sat up himself, he made a half-hearted attempt to listen to the rest of the boat - as well as outside. He could hear birds...
